Feeling like caged tigers

Well, this is it. This should be the week that we get into our house. We are hoping to close in the next few days, but there's still a few things to wrap up with the appraisal. Today there was a big snafu (pardon my French) but you know... there's always something that comes up to throw a kink in things just to make it exciting. But I'm sure it will all work out in a matter of 24-48 hours. Ha! The house looks amazing. We are very happy with how it's finished up. I'll post those pics soon so you can see cabinets, countertops, paint, and flooring - oh yeah, and our mountain view! Tonight we spent a couple of hours over at the model/office talking to our seller and meeting with our HOA board that Cornell and I volunteered to sit on (still not sure how we managed that). When we got home, we were both exhausted and ready to be done with the whole process. "Just get it over with," is the phrase I keep repeating. Just a minute ago, Cornell walked into the kitchen and said, "I feel like a caged tiger!" I laughed... what a good description of how this feels. Time to go feed my kitty and go to bed.

Congrats!! I can't wait to come and see the new place. Best of luck with the move. I love Cornell's description, it does feel like you are a caged tiger.
